A note for the grownups,

The notebook that answers back

E-ink, a pencil, and not one app. It reads their handwriting, keeps their pages, and answers questions out of their own notes.

First batch ships March 2027

The paper trick

I

Writes like pen and paper

Real friction, real ink feel, zero glow. Bedtime stays bedtime.

II

Keeps things organized

Maths goes to maths, doodles go to doodles. Nobody files anything.

III

Understands their handwriting

Even the letters that are still deciding what they are.

IV

Finds anything they wrote

By word, by date, or by the dragon drawn next to it.

V

Answers from their notes

It quotes their own pages back before it adds anything new.

Watch it think

The page answers back

The no-list

The letter

We made the thing we kept wishing for at homework time: a book

that answers questions without taking the child somewhere else to

do it. Curiosity goes in; attention comes back out at dinner.

from the parents who built it

She reads her own notes out loud to it and argues. It is the healthiest argument in the house.
Deepa Raghavan · Parent of a VI-grader
The no-list sold me before the AI did. No camera, no feed, firmware I can audit.
Owen Gallagher · Parent, and a sysadmin
My book knows my dragon means volcano chapter.
